Engineers also play a critical role in protecting the health and safety of all who contribute to our operations and the communities where we operate.

Within the exploration and production business, our operations and engineering groups can provide an exciting and varied professional career. In this skills group we include:

• Production Technology and Operations: Responsible for field development, flow assurance, production chemistry, and production optimization, including the daily operations and maintenance of each producing asset.
• Project Management and Infrastructure Engineering: Primary technical responsibility from the wellhead to sales point, including all aspects of project planning and implementation.
• Well Engineering and Operations: Responsible for optimal well engineering and execution of drilling completion and intervention operations.

ConocoPhillips offers varied engineering discipline roles including: civil/structural; chemical/process; mechanical; control systems and instrumentation; electrical; naval architecture; safety and environmental engineers.

For these opportunities we normally recruit graduates from established Engineering MSc/MEng Courses who are committed to achieving chartered engineering status.
